How do you calculate how many pavers you need?
Use one formula for every design:
Pieces needed = area in square feet × pieces per square foot
- Measure the length and width of the area in feet, and multiply them to get the area in square feet.
- Find your design in the charts below and note its pieces per square foot.
- Multiply the two numbers.
- Add a little extra for pieces cut at edges and corners.
Example: a veranda 20 feet long and 10 feet wide is 200 square feet. Our Wave paver takes 3.05 pieces per square foot, so the veranda needs 610 pieces before cuts.
If you are unsure, we confirm the exact quantity on a free site inspection.
